Marie sagsøger staten efter tab af job hos energistyrelse

Marie fik jobbet i oktober 2023 efter at have gennemgået et sikkerhedstjek, hvor hun var åben omkring sit klimaengagement. Flere måneder senere, efter at en tidligere medarbejder havde tippet om hendes forbindelser til Rebellmammorna, blev hun kaldt ind til sin chef, Karl Björklund. Hun fik tilbudt at afbryde båndene til gruppen for at beholde stillingen. I retten beskrev Marie, hvordan hun modtog dødstrusler og blev udsat for en mediestorm efter en artikel i magasinet Fokus. Hun afviste anklager om illoyalitet og sagde, at hun aldrig har været mistænkt for nogen forbrydelse. Statens advokat argumenterede i stedet for, at hun ikke havde udført sine opgaver. Maries advokat, Joakim Lindqvist, understregede behovet for at beskytte offentligt ansattes ret til at demonstrere. Han sagde, at staten fejlagtigt kæder fredelig civil ulydighed sammen med trusler mod Sveriges sikkerhed. Retssagen fortsætter de kommende dage.
