Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake sent congratulations on June 8, noting strengthened India-Sri Lanka ties. Prime Ministers of Papua New Guinea and Trinidad and Tobago also praised Modi’s leadership on the global stage. Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced on June 9 that Modi would surpass Nehru’s record on June 10. The NDA meeting will be held at Bharat Mandapam. Flagship schemes include the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana covering 813.5 million people and the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi disbursing ₹4.27 lakh crore to over 110 million farmer families.
