Modo expected to sign center Jackson Jutting soon

Modo Hockey is close to completing a deal for American center Jackson Jutting. The 25-year-old is described as a two-way player who could fill the club's need for a top-line center.

Expressen reports that Jutting is only details away from signing with the HockeyAllsvenskan club. The agreement is expected within a short time unless something unexpected occurs.

HockeyNews had earlier noted Jutting's interest from several HockeyAllsvenskan teams. Modo sports director Henrik Gradin had confirmed the club's interest in the player.

In the past season Jutting recorded 59 points in 66 ECHL games and appeared in four AHL contests. He would become the latest addition to Modo's roster ahead of the upcoming campaign.
