Montana man charged in fatal Bozeman bar shooting

A 22-year-old Montana man faces charges including deliberate homicide after a shooting outside a Bozeman bar killed a 29-year-old man. The incident occurred early on May 25.

Jakob Steven Lundberg stands accused of deliberate homicide, criminal endangerment and tampering with evidence in the death of Sidney Callaghan. Authorities say the two men fought inside the Rocking R Bar before the altercation moved outside. Lundberg retrieved a handgun from his red Subaru WRX and shot Callaghan multiple times in a crowded area, according to a police affidavit. He then drove away before 1 a.m.
