Mora signs Damien Giroux to replace departing forwards

Mora IK has completed a deal for Canadian center Damien Giroux according to reports. The 26-year-old arrives from recent stints in the ECHL and Slovak league.

Expressen reported on Saturday that the HockeyAllsvenskan side has secured the services of Giroux, who played one NHL game and recorded an assist with the Minnesota Wild during the 2022/23 season. He also brings AHL experience and posted 26 points in 42 games in the Slovak league during 2026/27.
