Morocco defeated Haiti 4-2 in their final Group C match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup but finished second behind Brazil.
Morocco twice came from behind to secure the win in Atlanta on June 24. Haiti took the lead in the 10th minute through a Yassine Bounou own goal before Achraf Hakimi equalised. Wilson Isidor restored the advantage for Haiti with a long-range strike.
Ismael Saibari levelled the score before half-time. Substitutes Soufiane Rahimi and Gessime Yassine then scored to complete the turnaround for Morocco.
Brazil’s 3-0 victory over Scotland ensured they topped the group. Morocco will now face the winners of Group F, likely the Netherlands, in the round of 32 in Guadalupe on June 29.
