My Chemical Romance DJ at Wembley fan party

My Chemical Romance members took to the decks at a Wembley fan party on July 9. Gerard Way, performing as DJ Party Poison, closed the set with an unexpected track.

The event, titled Battery City Underground: Danger Days: A Release Party, was held at Boxpark Wembley one day ahead of the deluxe edition release for the band's 2010 album Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.

Gerard Way ended his performance with the jaunty song When the Toad Came Home from The Wind in the Willows. The choice stood out as markedly different from the album's style.

The party occurred during the group's sold-out Wembley Stadium residency, which began on July 8 with additional dates set for July 10 and July 11. The band is currently touring the UK and Europe as part of the Long Live the Black Parade tour.
