Pastor Jamal Bryant spilled the latest on his Instagram video Saturday, July 25. He said Cheyenne Bryant herself sent the cease-and-desist, not any lawyer. “I said imma walk away, I don’t want to be part of Black on Black crime. I let it go,” he shared, calling it his final comment on the matter.
The back-and-forth stems from viral doubts about Cheyenne’s Ph.D. in theocentric psychology. She posted a Netflix-style tease defending herself, while an email from a supposed university president defending her credentials raised more eyebrows when Bryant couldn’t locate the school.
Bryant is now pivoting to Howard University, where hundreds of students face unenrollment over unpaid balances. He urged followers to tune into his podcast for that discussion instead.
