Pat McAfee and wife Samantha welcomed their second child, son Midas Robert McAfee, on May 22 after a high-risk pregnancy led to an emergency C-section.
In a Monday X post, McAfee shared that doctors acted Friday night when Samantha developed severe preeclampsia. Baby Midas arrived at 10:42 PM weighing 6 pounds 6 ounces with a full head of hair. He spent initial time in the NICU to strengthen his lungs after arriving a few weeks early. Samantha is recovering from surgery, which McAfee called her handling like a badass. The couple plans to bring Midas home soon to meet big sister Mackenzie, now three.
