For the first time, the Philippines will host WAN-IFRA Digital Media Asia in Manila from April 27 to 29, 2026. The gathering draws news media leaders, innovators, and disruptors from across the Asia-Pacific. It focuses on digital transformation, revenue innovation, and emerging technologies in publishing.
The Philippines will host the 18th edition of WAN-IFRA Digital Media Asia (DMA) at the Manila Hotel. WAN-IFRA represents 3,000 news publishing companies, 40 member associations, and 18,000 publications across 120 countries, bringing the world's largest press organization to Manila.
Over three days, participants will explore how artificial intelligence, shifting platform dynamics, and the creator economy are reshaping the industry. International news organizations will present case studies on sustainable digital revenue models, complemented by regional voices from the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
The Manila Hotel, known as the Grand Dame by the Bay, will serve as the historic backdrop for this milestone event. Media leaders, strategists, technologists, and creators will gather there to exchange ideas and forge partnerships.
As a once-in-a-generation opportunity, DMA 2026 allows the region's media professionals to connect with the global community and shape the future of news.
