Rebecca Romijn frets over Mystique makeup marathon

Rebecca Romijn is back as Mystique but not before grilling bosses about the nine-hour paint job. The actress spilled her top concern at San Diego Comic-Con.

Rebecca Romijn had one burning question when Marvel called about Avengers: Doomsday. How long would the full-body prosthetics and blue paint take this time around?

She told Entertainment Tonight the original process was brutal. Romijn went in at midnight, shot for 15 hours and spent another three or four hours getting the makeup off, leaving her skin blistered and needing 24-hour breaks.

The 53-year-old X-Men star called the whole thing surreal and fun to reunite with old castmates. Still, that makeup marathon was the first thing on her mind.

So... will Marvel cut the time or is she in for another 24-hour shift?
