Rick Astley joins Blossoms at Tramlines Festival

Rick Astley made a surprise appearance with Blossoms during their set at Tramlines Festival in Sheffield.

The singer joined the Stockport band on the Sarah Nulty Main Stage at Hillsborough Park on July 25 for a performance of their new single ‘Joke About Divorce’.

Astley also provides backing vocals on the studio version of the track and appears in its music video. Blossoms played the song as part of a set that included the first live performance of another new single, ‘Meet Me In Love’.

The band’s forthcoming album ‘Songs From The Wedding Cake’ is scheduled for release on October 2 via ODD SK / Distiller Records. Blossoms will support the record with a UK arena tour beginning November 26 in Cardiff.
