Rocket League's Season 22 update launches globally on March 11, 2026, introducing new features ahead of the Paris Major. The update coincides with Split 2 of the RLCS 2026 season and includes an in-game event for fans to influence esports content. Quality-of-life improvements, such as visible matchmaking ratings, are also part of the patch.
The Rocket League Season 22 update from Epic Games arrives on March 11, 2026, timed just before the Paris Major in May. This release supports the start of Split 2 in the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2026 season, following Gentle Mates' win at the Boston Major the previous week. Regional esports tournaments are set to begin later in March.
A key addition is Bracket Rivals, the game's first in-game event allowing players to affect the Paris Major. From March 20 to 26, participants can equip free titles representing popular creator duos. The duo with the most goals scored by players wearing their title will determine the teams for a content creator showmatch on stage at the event.
The update also brings enhancements to the 10-year-old game. Players will now view their matchmaking rating (MMR) directly. Boost pad recharge progress becomes visible, and an indicator shows when the flip reset ability is off cooldown.
Global release times vary by region: Pacific Time at 9:00 on March 11, Eastern Time at 12:00, Greenwich Mean Time at 17:00, Indian Standard Time at 21:30, and Japan Standard Time at 2:00 on March 12. Later times apply for Australian Eastern Daylight Time at 4:00 and New Zealand Daylight Time at 18:00 on March 12.
