Queen drummer Roger Taylor has shared his thoughts on the possibility of the band returning to the road. He spoke to BBC Radio 2 about the logistics involved and the role of his bandmate Brian May.
Taylor noted that any future tour would require significant effort. "It is a big machine to gear up, if you know what I mean," he said. He added that the decision rests largely with May, though he remains open to the idea.
"I think it’s more down to Brian [May] than me. I love playing live. I enjoy it, always have," Taylor explained. "So if we both wanna do it, I’d be happy to. But we’ll see. Never say never."
The band last performed in Asia in early 2024 as part of the Rhapsody Tour with Adam Lambert. Taylor also praised Lambert, saying the singer has an "incredible voice" after years of collaboration.
Queen released a previously unheard track called "Not for Sale (Polar Bear)" during the holiday period. Taylor himself is preparing to issue his seventh solo album, "Violence Insane in a Beautiful World," on September 18.
