World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns has accepted a challenge from Seth Rollins for a title match at WWE SummerSlam.
The acceptance came during the main event segment of WWE Raw on June 30. Reigns appeared alongside Jacob Fatu before Rollins interrupted and referenced their shared history in The Shield since 2012.
Rollins noted that Reigns has never defeated him in singles competition and framed the proposed match as potentially their final opportunity. He cited past encounters including the WrestleMania 31 cash-in and WrestleMania 41.
Reigns initially dismissed the challenge but ultimately agreed after stating he needs to beat Rollins. The match is now set for SummerSlam.
Earlier on the same episode of Raw a Hell in a Cell match between Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar was also confirmed for the event.
