Syv ryttere udtaget til bruttotruppen til verdensmesterskaberne i springning

Sveriges landstræner i springning, Henrik Ankarcrona, har udtaget syv ryttere til en bruttotrup til sommerens verdensmesterskaber i Aachen. Henrik von Eckermann og Peder Fredricson forventes at blive en del af det endelige hold på fem ryttere plus én reserve. Holdet sammensættes endeligt ved stævnet i Falsterbo.

Henrik Ankarcrona, landstræner for det svenske springlandshold, har offentliggjort nomineringen af syv ryttere til en bruttotrup forud for verdensmesterskaberne i Aachen i august. Sverige sigter efter at forsvare to guldmedaljer fra Herning i 2022, og stævnet fungerer desuden som kvalifikation til OL.

"Det bliver en spændende rejse hele vejen frem til mesterskaberne. Dette er et verdensmesterskab på en af hestesportens mest ikoniske arenaer, og det fungerer samtidig som OL-kvalifikation. Et meget vigtigt mesterskab," udtaler Ankarcrona i en pressemeddelelse.

De nominerede ekvipager er: Henrik von Eckermann med Steely Dan, Qasirah eller Minute Man; Peder Fredricson med Alcapone eller Vroom de la Pomme; Wilma Hellström med Cicci eller Eleven; Petronella Andersson med Opaline; Amanda Landeblad med For Killy eller Springfield; Angelie von Essen med Voila; og Thomas Ryan med Jezebeau.

Holdet skal konkurrere ved femstjernede Nations Cup-stævner i Rom fra den 27.-31. maj, La Baule fra den 10.-14. juni og Falsterbo fra den 9.-12. juli før selve VM. "Nu skærper vi formen, og alt handler om at finde de fem ekvipager, som vi tror på vil peake til VM," tilføjer Ankarcrona.
