Shift Up plans self-publishing for next Stellar Blade

Korean developer Shift Up intends to self-publish the sequel to Stellar Blade. The move could end PlayStation exclusivity for the series. Details are expected within the year.

Shift Up announced the plans in its Q1 2026 company report. Development of the next Stellar Blade is progressing smoothly and remains on track to meet targeted quality standards, the company said. It will adopt a first-party service model that allows it to handle publishing directly.
