Shift Up has revealed Stellar Blade Blood Rain, a sequel to the 2024 action game Stellar Blade, during Summer Game Fest. The announcement included a gameplay trailer showing protagonist Evie in combat.
The trailer depicts Evie arriving at a train station after the events of the original game. She engages in fast-paced battles using heavy punches and a blade against grotesque enemies. All footage was captured on PC. No release date has been announced and the game remains in development. The original Stellar Blade released in 2024 and became a commercial success for developer Shift Up, selling millions of copies worldwide. The reveal surprised attendees at this year's Summer Game Fest presentation.
