Örebro kommune blokerer for TikTok, Snapchat og Instagram på computere i grundskolen. Tiltaget iværksættes, fordi sociale medier forstyrrer undervisningen på trods af mobilforbud.

Selvom visse skoler i Örebro allerede har indført mobilfrie zoner, fortsætter sociale medier med at forstyrre undervisningen. Kommunen har derfor besluttet også at blokere for TikTok, Snapchat og Instagram på skolecomputere.

Tiltaget gælder for grundskoler i kommunen. Skoler som Storåskolan og Engelbrektsskolan har tidligere været mobilfrie for at øge studieroen og trygheden.

I august 2026 indføres et nationalt mobilforbud i alle svenske grundskoler. Det lokale initiativ i Örebro kommer således på forkant med den landsdækkende regel.
