Örebro kommune blokkerer TikTok, Snapchat og Instagram på grunnskolenes datamaskiner. Tiltaket settes i verk fordi sosiale medier forstyrrer undervisningen til tross for forbud mot mobiltelefoner.

Til tross for at enkelte skoler i Örebro allerede har innført mobilfrie soner, fortsetter sosiale medier å forstyrre undervisningen. Kommunen har derfor besluttet å blokkere TikTok, Snapchat og Instagram også på skolenes datamaskiner.

Tiltaket gjelder grunnskolene i kommunen. Skoler som Storåskolan og Engelbrektsskolan har tidligere innført mobilfrie soner for å øke arbeidsroen og tryggheten.

I august 2026 innføres et nasjonalt mobilforbud i alle svenske grunnskoler. Det lokale initiativet i Örebro kommer dermed i forkant av den landsdekkende regelen.
