A one-person studio has released an early access train simulator that players are hailing as the best of its kind. Running Train features detailed routes across fictional Japanese landscapes and is available now on Steam.
Novatetsu Games developed the title alone. It includes 42 routes spanning 40 kilometers of track on the Fukugawa Line and Sankai Main Line. Players control speed and braking while earning scores, or they can enable autoplay to explore via free camera across varying weather and seasons.
