Somali Regional Education Bureau invites bids for Jigjiga Boarding School fence maintenance

The Somali Regional Education Bureau is calling for local competitive bids for the construction maintenance of the fence at Jigjiga Boarding School, referenced as NCB/REB-/0024/2018. Interested parties can obtain bid documents from the Procurement & Property Directorate on the ground floor of the bureau or online via REB.gov.et after paying a non-refundable fee of 500 Birr to the finance office of the Somali Regional State Education Bureau. Documents are available during office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm and 2:00-5:15pm, upon showing a renewed 2018 trade license, tax clearance certificate, and VAT registration. Only bidders without a history of poor performance on prior bureau projects are eligible. Bidders must provide clear contact details including phone, cell, fax, and email. Proposals require a 2% bid bond in the form of an unconditional bank guarantee or C.P.O., and must be deposited in the tender box at the Logistics Department before 2:00pm. Opening occurs at 2:30pm in the presence of bidders or their agents. Failure to meet conditions leads to rejection. The bureau reserves the right to accept or reject any bids.
