In the first update since reality TV star Loana Petrucciani's body was found dead on March 25, 2026, in her Nice apartment, her last partner Sophie spoke out anonymously on W9's 'Tout beau tout neuf' show. She firmly denies any role in the death, amid ongoing investigations showing no evidence of third-party involvement.
Sophie, one of the last people to see Loana alive, testified via altered-voice audio due to death threats. She described their relationship as strained due to Loana's bipolar disorder, which led to alcohol and medication excesses. 'We must not forget that Loana had a condition called bipolarity. Naturally, that caused conflicts,' she explained.
Sophie rejected claims of sequestration, stating Loana chose to cut contacts and walked her dog Titi every evening. Their last evening together, on March 1, was 'like any other.' After sleeping together, Sophie left; upon returning, the home was empty and open, with no further contact. She clarified they did not share housing and she had no duplicate keys, only the caretaker did.
Loana's mother, Violette, visited on March 11 with Laurent Amar but got no response despite Titi's barking and did not call firefighters. Sophie is scheduled for questioning by authorities. Loana's best friend has described the relationship as violent since February.
