Steelers hold light walkthrough on day three of camp

The Pittsburgh Steelers conducted a relaxed, half-speed practice session on July 31 at Saint Vincent College. Players skipped helmets and gloves while focusing on situational drills and 11-on-11 work. The day featured no pads and limited physical contact ahead of a day off.

Practice ran from 10:30 a.m. to noon under clear skies. Aaron Rodgers threw to receivers including DK Metcalf and Germie Bernard in end-of-half scenarios, while Will Howard connected with Eli Heidenreich on a red-zone touchdown. T.J. Watt and Cam Heyward received the day off.

Mike McCarthy addressed all rookies, draft picks, and undrafted free agents after the session. The team installed new punt formations and reviewed alignments for both first- and second-team units.

Injuries remained minimal, with Donte Kent continuing side work from an ACL recovery. Joey Porter Jr. and Jalen Ramsey stayed on the PUP list but observed practice.
