Talaat Moustafa Group plans to nearly double its hotel portfolio over the next decade. The announcement came from Chief Executive and Managing Director Hisham Talaat Moustafa.
Hisham Talaat Moustafa said during an interview on Al Arabiya Business’s First Class programme that the group currently owns around 20 hotels and aims to reach between 35 and 40 properties. He stressed that investment decisions rely on extensive market studies and financial analysis rather than personal judgment.
Moustafa described a hands-on approach that includes visiting construction sites two days a week and monitoring project performance. The group is also preparing a new generation of executives aged 30 to 45 for leadership roles.
Plans include a major entertainment project with Gulf investors and the upcoming Spine development focused on advanced technologies. He named Egypt and Saudi Arabia as the region’s most attractive long-term real estate markets.
