Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot Friday night in a lavish ceremony at Madison Square Garden. The event featured handwritten vows, emotional moments and a star-studded guest list.
The couple confirmed their marriage when giant pink screens flashed “JUST T MARRIED!” outside the New York arena. Adam Sandler officiated while Austin Swift served as Man of Honour and Jason Kelce acted as Best Man.
Taylor wore a Christian Dior Haute Couture gown designed by Jonathan Anderson paired with custom Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewellery. Guests described the vows as real, vulnerable, serious and silly, with the pair using little books at the altar.
Taylor’s aunt Robin Gentry told LBC News the newlyweds “cried, and they laughed, and they danced, and they hugged, and they kissed.” The reception included carnival games and catering from Zero Bond.
Fans outside received a surprise box of pastries from the event early Saturday morning. George Stephanopoulos later called the ceremony “great – moving” and noted it felt surprisingly intimate despite the 1,000 guests.
