West Virginia Coffee Festival returns to Charleston in April

The second annual West Virginia Coffee Festival will take place on April 25, 2026, at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center. This event marks the festival's first appearance in Charleston following its debut in Hurricane, West Virginia. The West Virginia Coffee Festival is expanding for its second year, moving from Hurricane to the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Organized by coffee enthusiasts for the community, the event aims to celebrate specialty coffee and West Virginia's creative spirit.

Coffee lovers, roasters, baristas, and professionals from the dining and hospitality industries are invited to participate. Guests will have the opportunity to sample over 50 different coffees and specialty beverages from local West Virginia roasters. The festival includes live brewing demonstrations and direct interactions with roasters and coffee shop owners, offering a hands-on experience to explore flavors and learn about the state's unique coffee scene.

In addition to beverages, the event features Coffee-Centric WV Artisan Crafters and Makers of Delicious WV Treats. This marketplace highlights local talent with items such as handcrafted mugs, coffee-themed art, cozy textiles, freshly baked pastries, chocolates, jams, and other sweet and savory delights. All elements come together under one roof to showcase the best of the Mountain State.

Featured vendors include Silver Bridge Coffee Company, Aroma of the Andes Coffee, Mountain Folk Coffee, Cherry River Coffee Roasters, Cultivate Coffee Roasters, Mountain Table, Bean Theory Coffee, Vaniks Coffee, Good Vibes Coffee LLC, Java Bean LLC, Sibling Coffee, The Black Dog Coffee Company, Hill Tree Coffee Roasters, Hill and Holler Herbal Company, River Roasters Coffee Co., Coal River Coffee Company, and Aubade Coffee.

Festival organizers stated, “After the energy and excitement of our first festival in Hurricane, we knew it was time to bring this celebration to Charleston.” They added, “This year is all about celebrating West Virginia’s coffee culture, its makers, and its flavors in a new, expanded space.
