Xbox chief content officer Matt Booty has shared positive updates on The Elder Scrolls 6 after visiting Bethesda. He confirmed the game looks amazing and remains in active development.
Booty told Variety that he sat with Todd Howard and viewed the game in action. He stated it is coming along well and that Xbox will announce it at the right time.
The Elder Scrolls 6 was first revealed at E3 2018 with no new trailer since then. Former Xbox head Phil Spencer indicated in 2023 that the title was at least five years away from release.
Booty noted the challenge of timing announcements to show the best version of games while avoiding early promises. He said Xbox aims to reveal titles when they are close to completion.
