Yungblud performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago on Friday, marking his second appearance at the festival since 2018. The set featured tracks from his 2025 album Idols and included a spontaneous collaboration with a fan from the crowd.
The musician, born Dominic Harrison, opened with “Hello Heaven, Hello” and included tributes such as a cover of “Changes” honoring Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath. He also performed “My Only Angel,” referencing his recent collaboration with Aerosmith.
During the show on the Bud Light stage, Yungblud invited fan Katie from Michigan onstage. He handed her his guitar, and the pair performed the fan favorite “Fleabag” before he jumped into the crowd to greet more supporters. The set closed with the ballad “Zombie.”
The performance followed a July 9 cancellation at Cowboys Music Festival after Yungblud addressed online claims labeling him an “industry plant.” Support came from artists including SZA, Lauren Jauregui, and Alyssa Milano. In a January Rolling Stone interview, he discussed prioritizing health by canceling select dates ahead of an 18-month tour running through mid-2027.
