Gurman hinted on X at a headliner who is 'still going strong, was part of the British Invasion and Jobs would've been ecstatic,' fueling rumors of a Paul McCartney appearance. Jobs cited the Beatles as an inspiration in a 2003 60 Minutes interview, and the band founded Apple Records in 1968, sharing a name with the tech firm. Apple representatives did not comment on the rumor. An Apple representative did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Meanwhile, the Mimms Museum of Technology and Art in Roswell, Georgia, opens its exhibit iNspire: 50 Years of Innovation from Apple today at 10 a.m. local time. The 20,000-square-foot display features over 2,000 Apple items, including rare artifacts, prototypes, and products for an interactive experience. Mimms describes it as showcasing 'behind-the-scenes stories' from the world created by Jobs and Wozniak. Tom's Hardware notes that while Mimms claims the largest collection, the All About Apple Museum in Savona, Italy, holds over 9,000 items.
