Ashi Studio marks 20th anniversary with Fall 2026 Couture show

Ashi Studio presented its Fall 2026 Couture collection in a dramatic show celebrating the designer's two decades in business. The lineup drew on themes of historical masked balls and layered identities.

The collection closed with the spoken line “Behind every mask is another mask.” It referenced events such as the 1951 Ball of the Century hosted by Carlos de Beistegui and the Surrealist Ball organized by Baroness Marie-Hélène de Rothschild.

Designer references included Salvador Dalí motifs like a lobster brooch and elaborate gowns featuring peacock feathers, python skin, and 3D-printed elements. Other looks featured a lacquered leather corset resembling a porcelain doll and a moiré jacket with hand-blown opaline carafes.

Ashi described the central figure as wandering through chateau rooms in search of herself. The show also included more restrained pieces such as a patinated bronze leather peplum jacket and a sequined evening coat.

The designer indicated plans for a new chapter ahead. Clients wearing Ashi Studio designs attended the presentation.
