Benches clear during Twins-Red Sox game at Fenway

A benches-clearing incident occurred during a Major League Baseball game between the Minnesota Twins and Boston Red Sox on Saturday afternoon at Fenway Park. The confrontation involved Red Sox player Willson Contreras and Twins catcher Victor Caratini but ended without punches or ejections.

The incident took place in the bottom of the fourth inning with the Red Sox trailing in an eventual 4-2 loss. Contreras attempted to score from third on a double by Ceddanne Rafaela and made contact with Caratini at the plate. The two players exchanged words while embracing briefly before separating.
