Brooks Koepka findet vor der PGA Championship zu alter Form zurück

Brooks Koepka spielte am Samstag bei der ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic eine Back-Nine von 29 Schlägen. Für den fünffachen Major-Sieger war dies das erste Ergebnis dieser Art auf der PGA Tour seit 2019.

Koepka beendete den Tag mit einer 65er-Runde und erklärte, die Leistung habe die Begeisterung zurückgebracht, die er zuletzt bei seinem Sieg bei der PGA Championship 2023 verspürt hatte. Er führte sein verbessertes Spiel auf das neu gewonnene Glück abseits des Platzes zurück, darunter mehr Zeit mit seiner Familie, nachdem er im Januar auf die PGA Tour zurückgekehrt war.
