Bruce Springsteen hat während seines Stopps auf der Land of Hope and Dreams Tour in Washington, D.C. das Power to the People Festival angekündigt. Die Veranstaltung ist für den 3. Oktober im Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, geplant.
Springsteen gab Details zu dem eintägigen Festival bekannt, während er am 27. Mai im Nationals Park auftrat. Die Show war der vorletzte Stopp seiner Tournee, die am 30. Mai in Philadelphia endet. Er wird sich das Line-up mit Tom Morello und dessen Band sowie Dave Matthews, Joan Baez, Brittany Howard, Dropkick Murphys, Jack Black featuring Roman Morello, Revel Ian, Yoyoka Soma und Hugo Weiss, Serj Tankian, Cypress Hill, Killer Mike, grandson, Taylor Momsen, Matt Cameron, The Linda Lindas und einem DJ-Set von Shepard Fairey teilen. Auch die Foo Fighters werden als Künstler aufgeführt.
