BTS für besonderen Auftritt bei den American Music Awards bestätigt

BTS werden am Memorial Day einen besonderen Auftritt bei den 52. American Music Awards absolvieren. Dies gaben CBS und Dick Clark Productions am Mittwoch bekannt. Die K-Pop-Supergroup ist in diesem Jahr zudem in drei Kategorien nominiert.

BTS werden bei der jährlichen Verleihung am 25. Mai in der MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas auftreten. Die Show wird ab 20 Uhr ET live auf Paramount+ und CBS ausgestrahlt und von Queen Latifah moderiert. Die Gruppe trat zuletzt 2021 bei den AMAs auf und gewann an jenem Abend die Auszeichnung als Artist of the Year. Insgesamt kann die Band 11 AMA-Siege vorweisen und ist erneut als Artist of the Year, für den Song of the Summer sowie als Best Male K-Pop Artist nominiert.
