The Women's Committee of the Central Park Conservancy hosted its 44th annual Frederick Law Olmsted Awards luncheon on Wednesday, drawing over 1,400 guests in elaborate floral hats. The event raised a record $5.4 million to support the park's maintenance and restoration projects.
The gathering took place in the Conservatory Garden, where attendees including Martha Stewart, the Fendi family, and designer Stacey Bendet displayed custom headpieces made from flowers, feathers, and vintage pieces. Honorees Judy Hart Angelo and Janet Ross were celebrated for their longtime support of the Conservancy.
