Claudio Castellini selected for Lucca Comics & Games poster

Italian artist Claudio Castellini will design the official poster for Lucca Comics & Games 2026. The event marks its 60th anniversary under the theme of Legacy.

Celebrated comic-book artist Claudio Castellini has been chosen to create the poster. Born in Rome in 1966, he gained prominence in the 1990s through detailed work for Marvel Comics on titles including Conan the Barbarian, Spider-Man, Silver Surfer and the Marvel vs. DC crossover.

The pop-culture festival, held annually in the walled city of Lucca, Italy, will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2026. Organizers announced the Legacy theme alongside the poster commission.

Attendance figures from the 2025 edition showed more than 900 guests, 730 exhibitors and 30,000 cosplayers across 1,500 events and 12 exhibitions. A range of guests has already been confirmed for the 2026 program across comics, collectables, videogames and music.
