Converse to release purple one star j vtg sneaker

Converse is bringing back its One Star J VTG in a new purple colorway. The sneaker is scheduled to launch on May 22 with a premium suede construction made in Japan.

The design revives a classic silhouette through a vintage treatment. It features a rich purple suede upper paired with the brand's iconic white star motif on the quarters. White rubber covers the midsole and outsole for a crisp finish that highlights the archival style.

The collection includes six sneaker styles with all-over prints, plus tees, hoodies, bags, and more, releasing March 5, 2026, via Converse, Nike, Journeys, and SNKRS in unisex and kids' sizes.

Converse is preparing to launch a new version of its One Star shoe as a suede mule in rich brown. The slip-on design keeps the classic star logo and minimal style while removing the heel for easier wear. It is scheduled to go on sale May 15 through the brand's website.
