Das Teilnehmerfeld für die Longines Luhmühlen Horse Trials vom 18. bis 21. Juni steht fest. Die fünf-Sterne-Titelverteidigerin Ros Canter führt gemeinsam mit Izilot DHI eine Liste von 30 Startern an. Der Wettbewerb findet acht Wochen vor den Weltmeisterschaften in der Vielseitigkeit in Aachen statt.

Ros Canter ist sowohl mit Izilot DHI als auch mit MHS Seventeen gemeldet. Im vergangenen Jahr gelang ihr ein seltenes Double, als sie im Mai mit Lordships Graffalo in Badminton siegte und im Juni den CCI5*-Titel in Luhmühlen holte. Sie kehrt nach ihrem dritten Sieg in Badminton Anfang dieses Monats in starker Form an den deutschen Veranstaltungsort zurück.

New mother Ros Canter maintained her lead at the Mars Badminton Horse Trials after a clear cross-country round with Lordships Graffalo on Saturday.

Entries for the 2026 Mars Badminton Horse Trials were published on March 23, with two-time champions Ros Canter and Lordships Graffalo topping the list. The event is scheduled for May 6-10 and offers a top prize of £125,000. Several former winners and world-ranked riders are among the entrants.

Twenty-nine horses passed the first trot-up at the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event on April 22, marking the start of the five-star competition in Kentucky. No horses were referred to the holding box despite minor spooks from two entries. The cross-country course, designed by Derek di Grazia, features 28 fences over 6312 meters with an optimum time of 11 minutes 5 seconds.
