Die frischgebackene Mutter Ros Canter konnte ihre Führung bei den Mars Badminton Horse Trials nach einer fehlerfreien Geländerunde mit Lordships Graffalo am Samstag verteidigen.

Ros Canter und Lordships Graffalo absolvierten die Geländeprüfung am 9. Mai ohne Fehler und 13 Sekunden innerhalb der erlaubten Zeit. Die Titelverteidiger bleiben vor der abschließenden Springprüfung am Sonntag an der Spitze des Klassements. Canter brachte Ende Januar ihre zweite Tochter Seneh zur Welt und sprach über die Herausforderungen, Mutterschaft und den Spitzensport miteinander zu vereinbaren.

Ros Canter has taken the lead in the dressage at the Mars Badminton Horse Trials on Lordships Graffalo. The defending champion scored 23.7 penalties, 4.4 ahead of second-placed Tiana Coudray. Cross-country action is scheduled to begin on Saturday morning.
