Fontaines-D.C.-Duo produziert neues Album von Film Noir

Carlos O’Connell und Tom Coll von Fontaines D.C. haben das kommende zweite Album der französischen Indie-Band Film Noir produziert. Das Projekt wurde in den La Frette Studios bei Paris aufgenommen und umfasst zwei neue Singles, die ab sofort erhältlich sind.

O’Connell, der mit der Film-Noir-Sängerin Joséphine de La Baume liiert ist, gab die Zusammenarbeit in den sozialen Medien bekannt. Er beschrieb, wie er die Band 2020 in Paris kennenlernte und später zusammen mit Coll in dem historischen Studio aufnahm, in dem auch die Arctic Monkeys ihre jüngsten Alben produzierten. O’Connell bezeichnete die Erfahrung als eine der schönsten, die er je gemacht hat, und sagte, dass ihm das Album sehr viel bedeutet.

Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize have announced a new collaborative album titled Nine Inch Noize, set for release on April 17. The announcement precedes their joint performance as Nine Inch Noize at Coachella 2026 on April 11. A billboard teasing the album appeared on the route to Indio, California.

The charity album Help(2) for War Child and the soundtrack for the new Peaky Blinders movie were released on March 6, 2026, featuring several new songs by Fontaines D.C. and frontman Grian Chatten. The releases include collaborations with artists like Damon Albarn and covers of tracks by Sinéad O’Connor and Massive Attack. The projects highlight contributions from a range of prominent musicians supporting charitable causes and cinematic storytelling.
