Fontaines d.c. duo produces new film noir album

Carlos O’Connell and Tom Coll of Fontaines D.C. have produced the upcoming second album by French indie band Film Noir. The project was recorded at La Frette Studios near Paris and includes two new singles now available.

O’Connell, who is in a relationship with Film Noir singer Joséphine de La Baume, announced the collaboration on social media. He described meeting the band in Paris in 2020 and later recording with Coll at the historic studio where Arctic Monkeys made recent albums. O’Connell called the experience one of the most beautiful he has had and said the album means the world to him.
