Jung Eunwoo, a former member of the K-pop group Pristin, recently shared comments about the group's disbandment in an Instagram reel. Her remarks have drawn attention from fans who have long speculated about the reasons behind the sudden end to activities.
Jung Eunwoo, who trained with Pledis Entertainment starting in her third year of middle school, described the group's promising start. Pristin debuted in 2017 with the mini-album Hi! Pristin and title track Wee Woo, following momentum from Produce 101.
She noted that the company managed multiple groups at the time. According to her comments, opportunities were repeatedly delayed and did not fully reach the members.
Pledis Entertainment announced the disbandment in May 2019 after discussions with the members. Jung Eunwoo said she holds no regrets about the experience despite the challenges.
She now works as a consultation manager at a plastic surgery clinic in Gangnam and has reconnected with fans online.
