ITZY's Yuna cast as lead in Netflix K-Drama

ITZY member Yuna is set to star as the female lead in the upcoming Netflix original series Do Not Cross the Wall. The announcement has sparked excitement among fans for her first leading role.

Yuna will play Kim Riji, a transfer student on an athletic scholarship who brings a magnetic energy to an all-girls high school. Her character disrupts the studious environment by sharing stories from her co-ed school days and flaunting boys’ phone numbers.

The drama follows rival elite schools separated by a wall, where two headstrong student council presidents spark a forbidden romance. Getting caught dating risks expulsion, creating high stakes for the high-teen story.

Scriptwriter Lee Na-eun, known for Our Beloved Summer, is behind the project. Yuna will star opposite Moon Sangmin and Shin Si-ah. She previously made a special appearance in tvN’s Undercover Miss Hong and has a supporting role lined up in My Favorite Employee.

Fans have reacted with surprise at the swift move to a Netflix lead, expressing excitement over the fiery first-love narrative.
