Journal Standard has collaborated with Vans on the LX Authentic 44 Deck Shoe in a navy colorway. The shoe blends skate aesthetics with nautical design elements for versatile wear. Official images highlight its premium features ahead of a to-be-confirmed release.

Journal Standard and Vans announced a partnership for the LX Authentic 44 Deck Shoe, presented in a maritime-inspired navy colorway. The design fuses the skate brand's low-profile silhouette with traditional boat footwear utility. It carries the SKU VN000EFZNGV and an MSRP of ¥12,650 JPY, approximately $80 USD, with a release date still to be confirmed. The upper combines 8-ounce canvas and suede, accented by maritime rope laces. A siped rubber outsole provides traction on wet surfaces, nodding to its deck shoe heritage. As part of Vans' Premium tier, the shoe features a high sidewall and glossed foxing tape for a vintage elevated look. Inside, a SolaFoam ADC insole offers modern comfort through high-rebound polyurethane foam made with 30 percent bio-based materials. This collaboration bridges 1990s skate style and nautical functionality, prioritizing both aesthetics and daily usability.
