K-Pop artist from20 responds to racist hate comment

Former BIGSTAR member from20 has clapped back at a racist online comment targeting his upcoming track "Big Boy." The 34-year-old idol addressed the negativity tied to his sexually themed album Rated R.

From20, who debuted solo in 2021 after BIGSTAR's run from 2012 to 2019, teased Rated R earlier this month. Seven of the album's 13 tracks have already been banned from KBS broadcasts over profanity and suggestive lyrics.

A June 14 comment questioned whether a Korean man could embody the song's title, playing on stereotypes about Asian men. From20 replied directly on June 15, writing "Some things are better experienced than explained. BIG BOY June 26, Racist😎."

Fans quickly praised the response, with comments calling it a strong stand against racism and joking about wanting to "experience" the track themselves. The album is slated for release on June 26.
