Lucknow Super Giants unveil new jersey for IPL 2026

The Lucknow Super Giants have introduced a new official jersey and refreshed colors ahead of the IPL 2026 season, drawing inspiration from the cultural heritage of Lucknow and Uttar Pradesh. The design features stripes of red, blue, and gold, symbolizing intensity, origins, and future belief. This unveiling accompanies a new logo incorporating symbols of courage, pride, and unity.

The Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) unveiled their new jersey on February 27, 2026, marking a significant update to their identity as they prepare for the upcoming Indian Premier League season. Over four seasons, LSG has evolved from a new team into a competitive force, supported by dedicated fans. The jersey design reflects the cultural fabric of Lucknow and Uttar Pradesh, emphasizing resilience, steady progress, and grounded ambition.

The color scheme shifts from the previous all-blue to stripes of red and blue accented with gold. As explained by Shashwat Goenka, owner of LSG and vice chairman of RPSG Group, "Red reflects the intensity that defines how we compete, blue acknowledges where the journey began, and gold expresses belief in what lies ahead. In motion, it becomes an expression of identity, carrying culture, purpose and competitive intent into every game."

Complementing the jersey is a new logo featuring three key symbols: the Garuda, representing courage and bravery; the Crown, signifying pride and responsibility; and the Elephant, symbolizing strength, wisdom, patience, and unity. Goenka described the logo as "a tribute to that love and belief," noting, "Garuda reflects our dreams to rise higher. The Crown reflects the pride you place on us every time we take the field. And the Elephant reflects the strength and loyalty that defines this region."

The unveiling also announces JK Super Cement as the principal jersey sponsor and KEI Wires & Cables as a new partner, underscoring commitments to strength and reliability.

In the previous IPL season, under captain Rishabh Pant, LSG finished seventh with six wins, eight losses, and 12 points. The team has assembled a squad including Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh, Nicholas Pooran, Rishabh Pant (captain and wicketkeeper), and others such as Mohammed Shami, Mayank Yadav, and Wanindu Hasaranga.
