WWE star Maxxine Dupri shared details of a specific request from former chairman Vince McMahon during her main roster debut.
Dupri recounted the incident on The Nikki & Brie Show. She said that upon arriving for her first day, she was told Vince wanted her in a black dress and heels.
She had packed 100 outfits but lacked both items and was also dealing with a fractured ankle that prevented her from wearing heels. Dupri quickly bought the required clothing at a mall and managed rehearsals despite mobility concerns.
The appearance was originally planned as an in-ring promo but was adjusted to accommodate her injury. The former Women's Intercontinental Champion has since adopted a darker persona as part of The Vision and appeared on WWE Raw this past Monday.
