Rostam und Clairo haben sieben Jahre nach ihrer ersten Zusammenarbeit erneut an dem neuen Titel Hardy gearbeitet, der aktuellen Single aus Rostams kommendem Album American Stories.

Das Lied, das nach der verstorbenen französischen Sängerin Françoise Hardy benannt ist, enthält ein Sample aus Georges Delerues Filmmusik für François Truffauts Film Die amerikanische Nacht. Zeitgleich mit dem Song wurde ein von Antony Muse gedrehtes Musikvideo veröffentlicht. Rostam produzierte Clairos Album Immunity aus dem Jahr 2019, und das Duo arbeitete zuvor bereits bei dem Lied Bags für dieses Projekt zusammen. Clairos jüngstes Album Charm erschien im Jahr 2024.

The xx perform first full show as trio in eight years in Mexico City

The xx reunited onstage on April 3 at Mexico City's Pepsi Center WTC for their first complete performance as a trio since 2018. Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim, and Jamie xx delivered a 19-song set drawing from their studio albums and solo projects. The show kicked off three sold-out gigs in the city and precedes festival dates.

Rostam shares reimagined version of Vampire Weekend's 'Young Lion'

Rostam, former Vampire Weekend member, has released a new guitar-led cover of the band's 'Young Lion'. The track, originally from their 2013 album Modern Vampires of the City, features backing from guitarist Amir Yaghmai. Rostam described the melody's evolution from piano to saz in the rework.
