Steve Clarke verlängert Vertrag als schottischer Nationaltrainer um vier Jahre

Steve Clarke hat eine neue vierjährige Vertragsverlängerung unterschrieben, um weiterhin als Cheftrainer von Schottland tätig zu sein. Die Vereinbarung bindet ihn bis zur Weltmeisterschaft 2030 an das Team.

Der schottische Fußballverband gab die Verlängerung am 28. Mai bekannt. Clarkes vorheriger Vertrag wäre nach der Weltmeisterschaft 2026 in den Vereinigten Staaten, Kanada und Mexiko ausgelaufen. Er übernahm das Amt im Jahr 2019 und hat die Mannschaft inzwischen bei vier Anläufen zu drei Qualifikationen für große Turniere geführt.
